The focus of Alcochem, Inc. is on the marketing of ethanol and specialty chemical products in the USA . The Group, through Alcochem, has become a USA based supplier of ethanol. Alcochem started out as an agent for Alcotra mainly facilitating the sale and purchase of ethanol in North America . Alcochem has subsequently launched its distribution of ethanol in the USA by contracting storage in both the North Eastern United States in Baltimore , MD and in the US Gulf in Texas City , Texas . Currently 2 grades of 192 proof ethanol can be offered on either an ex tank or a delivered basis. The ethanol can be supplied in-bond as spirits or denatured according to specific requirements in compliance with either the prescribed formulae (SDA's / CDA) or other special industrial solvent formulae approved by the TTB. De-proofing to 190 proof can also be done at either of the DSP facilities.

Alcochem currently operates out of Houston , Texas . The Houston office takes care of the administrative, financial, operational, logistical, quality assurance, technical support, sales, trading and customer care aspects as well as Research and Development with a well equipped modern laboratory providing services to the ethanol business and synthetic base fluid customers.
