The focus of Alcochem, Inc. is on the marketing of ethanol and specialty chemical products in the USA . Alcogroup, through Alcochem, has become a USA based supplier of ethanol. Alcochem started out as an agent for Alcotra mainly facilitating the sale and purchase of ethanol in North America. Alcochem has subsequently launched its distribution of ethanol in the USA by contracting storage in the US Gulf in Texas City, Texas.

Currently 2 grades of 192 proof ethanol can be offered on either an ex tank or a delivered basis. The ethanol can be supplied in-bond as spirits or denatured according to specific requirements in compliance with either the prescribed formulae (SDA's / CDA) or other special industrial solvent formulae approved by the TTB. De-proofing to 190 proof can also be done at the DSP facility.

Alcochem currently operates out of Houston, Texas. The Houston office takes care of administration, financial management, operations, logistics, quality assurance, technical support, sales, trading and customer care.
